Waterpark Alpamare

Alpamare in Pfaeffikon is the largest indoor waterpark in Europe. It is equipped with the 11 water slides with a total length 1800 m what makes them be the longest in Europe. There are also 4 pools: a Wave pool, a stream pool Rio Mare, a pool Alpa-Therme and a Iodine Brine Pool. Parents can relax in comfortable saunas with a tropical solarium and have nice drinks at the restaurants and bars. Happyland is the largest theme park in Switzerland. HappyLand has 25 exciting attractions including rollercoasters, balloon merry-go-round, carousels, 3D simulators, water slopes, slides, kids villages, theme restaurants and more than 300 different playgrounds.

It is an area of fun for all ages. This Swiss Disneyland is situated in the town of Granges in a canton of Valais, which is about 1.5 hour from Geneva or Bern, or 50 minutes from Montreux by car.

Swiss Miniature park

Swissminiatur (Melide, close to Lugano lake) is spread over 14,000 sq m and is aimed to demonstrate the most famous sights of Switzerland at a scale of 1:25. Among them there are Chillon Castle, Lausanne Cathedral, palace of the Federal Parliament, Bern’s Clock Tower, Wilhelm Tell monument in Altdorf, monument to the Russian General A. Suvorov in Andermatt, airport of Zurich and even Duomo di Milano. There are 120 handmade models showing the most famous Swiss buildings, monuments and means of transportation. They are surrounded by 15,000 flower species and several thousand trees.

There are also several models of trail tracks and miniature trains, cable-cars, and ships. Eighteen trains drive through 3,500 m of tracks; boats cross the lakes, cars travel across highways, and cable cars go up and down the mountains. This amazing theme park is a perfect place to spend an entire day with your family and have a tremendous fun.
