Volunteers, Lake Geneva looks for your help

On the 25 and 26 June Association de Sauvegarde du Léman is looking for help to clean the grounds around Lake Geneva from Japanese knotweed, a plant that hit agriculture and local plants.

The activity is to take place in Crans-près-Céligny and is aimed to help save biological diversity of the region.

About organizers

The Geneva Center for Volunteering, founded in 1988, is a non-profit, apolitical and neutral association. Its activities are carried out in the City of Geneva and throughout the canton.

Its goal is to promote volunteering in the social and cultural field and encourage the recruitment of people wishing to volunteer help to any person or institution that may need it.
