Here everyone can discover the process of chocolate making and prepare their own truffles and pralines which are available to take home. Lindt is one of the most famous Swiss chocolate brands which offers different chocolate workshops at their Chocolateria. 

Zurich Museum of Toys

Zurich Museum of Toys counts more than 1,200 unique old and modern toys from all over Europe. The oldest ones were made more than 200 years ago. Here, one can see antique pewter soldiers, handmade dolls, miniature railroads and steam engines, spinning tops, wooden toys, furniture for games and much more. Admission for children is free.

Zoological Museum

Zoological museum of the University of Zurich is a must-see. Museum’s collection counts more than 1,500 pieces of stuffed animals and skeletons including extinct mammoths and dinosaurs are shown. Besides, children can study insects and arachnids under a microscope, see and listen to about 300 different birds. The museum is free and open every day of the week.

Urania Observatory

Meet the magic of cosmos at the Urania Observatory. Here, you will be able to have a closer look at the moon, stars, planets and other universe galaxies by the grand telescope with 600 times magnification and learn many interesting facts about them. Free tours in German are available on the first Saturday of the month. 

Zurich Cable Road

To enjoy a stunning view of the city, Zurich Lake and Swiss Alps have a family ride at a cable road to Felsenegg viewpoint. The length of the ride is approximately 15 minutes. From Felsenegg observation deck you can walk to a café where delicious cakes and drinks are served.
