The Canton of Vaud is the second largest wine producing canton in Switzerland. It is a home to more than 450 wine makers (vignerons in French), and almost 4,000 hectares of vineyards that extend from Geneva to Montreux.

Before visiting Switzerland I had no idea about wine production in this country. Like the lake which is on fire during Swiss autumn mysterious sunsets the taste of the wine is smooth and soft with the accents after you drink it.
